CWS Workwear Croatia is seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable officer - collection officer / Office Assistant to oversee the collections and financial administration, while simultaneously ensuring smooth day‑to‑day office operations. This hybrid role combines excellent communication skills and organizational capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable officer - Collection
- Ensure timely collection of receivables through consistent follow-up and professional communication with clients
- Resolve billing discrepancies and handle customer queries related to invoices and payments
- Prepare AR ageing reports and provide regular updates to management
- Maintain compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations
Office assistant
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a productive and well‑organized work environment
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and relationships with vendors and service providers
- Coordinate meetings, events, travel arrangements, and office calendars as needed
- Serve as the primary contact for employees regarding office-related issues
- Handle incoming calls, correspondence, and general administrative tasks
- Support onboarding of new employees by workspace preparation
- Assist in maintaining company documentation, records, and internal procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in Accounts Receivable, accounting support, or a similar finance position.
- Previous experience in office management or administrative coordination
- Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem‑solving ability
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
- Professional, reliable, and proactive approach to work
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience working in an international or multi‑site organization.
- Knowledge of local tax and invoicing requirements.
