CWS Workwear offers you routine functional checks of your workwear and protective clothing. Protective clothing, in particular, is not only professionally maintained in our laundries but also checked by trained staff. Any damaged areas are professionally repaired (in accordance with standards). If this is not possible due to the protective nature of the garment, it is automatically replaced.
Protective clothing is subject to legislation and regulations that you, as the employer, are responsible for complying with. You must comply with these regulations not only when purchasing, but also in daily use, after each (unavoidable) wash, and after years of continuous use.
Failure to ensure that protective clothing remains in good working order may result in claims for compensation.
You can't see it, but it is one of the biggest dangers to electronic equipment, parts, and components: electrostatic discharge. Discharge. ESD workwear is an elementary component of protection and one of the most important protective measures that companies can take to prevent damage to sensitive electronic devices, assemblies, printed circuit boards, magnetic coils, etc.
In addition to our regular checks, we also offer individual ESD measurements, which can be booked as an option. In this process, we randomly test your ESD garments to ensure that they have no static charge and document all test parameters such as room climate, measuring points, measured resistance, etc. This test certificate gives you the assurance that the ESD garments you are using have no measurable surface charge.
The CWS Workwear Innovation Lab in Dreieich was officially opened in mid-June 2024. The lab is designed to test newly launched products and materials. It also serves as a training centre. Using state-of-the-art textile forensics, yarns and fabrics for workwear and protective clothing are tested for their functionality in industry. One focus of the research is on extending the life of textiles to make them even more sustainable.
